decent analogy. i guess i just come from a society where people don't carry guns around with them typically. from my view, if i felt the need then i must be living in fear that i will need it at some point but like you said, the same could be said for those who always have a gps are in fear they will get lost at some point but there is a difference in that using it could result in taking a life or ending up behing bars.
