people talk like they will form a militia and fight the government, but as we see constantly no, if shit really hit the fan youd be buying the first flight out of new york or wherever the war is starting and would not be in a revolution.
i am not trying to insult anyone, its just hilarious thinking about all this wehn instantly in a real life situation you wont even be allowed to be outside after 6 pm let alone patrol your streets with weapons LOl (they declare 6pm curfew during hurricane, you arrested if you out after 6 pm)
I can see everyone packing their gucci and versacci suits to get out of town quickly, that whole be rambo shit dies down quick when reality hits (soldiers with machine guns pointed at you) - when they approach you, they ask if you have weapons, you answer yes they already have weapons on you. You dont comply, what you think happens? lol need i spell it out?
as i said, in normal civilian times yeah you walk around supermarket feeling tough, but really, if shit broke out, none of you would be in any revolution, youd be evacuated and be sitting in a hotel in another state. hehehe

When martial law is declared because of a natural disaster it is not the intent of the government to be "oppressive" per se. It is the intent of the government to "protect and serve"...thus it is not a revolutionary scenario. As for the actions of police...there are bad cops on virtually any force in the nation and New Orleans has a history of having a high number of bad cops on its force.
