one of my clients decided she was going to do free shipping around the holidays. she got a TON of orders and a higher than average conversion rate. however her returning customers had a 3x higher cart abandonment rate because she was now charging shipping.
I told her to have a promo that had the time, like free shipping until dec 31! but instead she gets angry emails
