Well, it's either a scam, a malicious sibling, or a horny 15 year old looking for dick who spat her dummy when she got rained under with calls from 45 year old IT workers rather than Justin Beiber and Ryan Gosling.
Take your pick, but some of these wannabe scammers can be very convincing, not like that Lawrence Connor idiot pretending to be a priest.
Hindsight is a bitch, but you should've kept your mouth shut from the start.
Either way it sounds like someone is just desperate for a fight... there's nothing you can say or do to convince idiots like that. Sounds like you have measures in place to prevent mistakes/malicious users, and as for being personally responsible...
So just ignore it.
