For a woman, I can see why bad sex is not too appealing...kinda like being hungry, going to a restaurant, smelling the food, your mouth is watering (cool pun huh?), and then the person that you're with says "We gotta go now, the evening is over." She goes home hungry and frustrated...it would have been better for her to just stay home and eat a sandwich.
For a guy though, even with bad sex he normally "gets his" so he leaves full even if it was only an appetizer.
