I know this is an old thread, but I just have to bump it. I have been out of the adult game for some years now, but I have a little pet-project site that I've been tinkering with lately, and in looking for an easy way to monetize it I stumbled across this thread. It cracked me up to no end, seeing everyone going "what's an avs?" ... lol back in the day AVS's were so awesome, you could throw up three or four new sites a day, get them listed in the AdultCheck or Sexkey directories, and be making sales instantly.

Ahhhh .. I know it's a cliche, but that makes me think even further back to XPics. Wow, the future was so fucking bright

$.50 cents+ per click, and the sites were just awful. All that 80's hair (even though it was like 96).
