Not all studios are like this.
I can not speak for others but my girls do not work in sweat shops. I own a luxury house in a great part of town, I offer the girls education, transport to and from work, security guards, accounting, rooms, computers, technical assistance and even help with personal problems. For fucks sake I give them personal training and send them to a friends beauty salon for make overs, they get a higher cut if they adopt my values of healthy eating and daily workouts. I am not even doing this for the money, I like being around lots of girls
NONE and I do mean NONE of the girls would EVER EVER know about how to become a cam model without me. End of story. Even if they did most of them would piss away their money on coke and alcohol after every pay day if it was not for the discipline I impose on them though a higher % for professional behavior. Some people need a leader and need to be told what to do in order to function normally.
I have seen the sweat shop, gun to head, studios you speak about, and I agree with you 100% for that type of scumbag model. But my studio is very very different. The most girls I have in one room is 2 and we are talking about large living rooms not a shitty small bedroom. For fucks sake I even buy them new furniture and organize free laundry and maids. They call me in the middle of the night with personal problems I am literally like their mom to them. I organize their life literally, and they love me for it.
Do I have a moral dilemma because I take some of their money? HELL NO! But I have a system built on trust with my models. They trust me, and if some girl were to say that I am ripping them off, then this would put all my hard work to waste. I am what a coach is to a professional tennis player, not a parasite but a mentor and guide and support. They would never make it without me. Period.
Also I have a background in the fashion and modeling business I really really know how to recruit and motivate and discipline (in a productive business sense) my girls to excel and achieve much more than if they were to do this by their own. Livejasmin.com is losing money because they do not take care of people like me who can bring them a much more professional and motivated type of worker. I can recruit literally 100-s of girls within a month. If I could get the right type of protection for my investment I could recruit easily from 4 surrounding countries. I have cast before for fashion, before the crisis hit my country, and had 100-s of girls come to a single audition from one single shitty ad in the paper. With the right motivation I could organize mass castings 1000+ girls (most working from home of course, my house is not that big :D ) in a few months would be no problem at all.
I have spoken to livejasmin.com about this but I do not think their tech support passes on my concerns to the principals, or livejasmin.com has a vested interest in things staying the way they are...who knows...
