I was working with a German guy 2 years ago and he was a real prick, bragging about the great German team all the time... if I remember well in the semi finals Germany played against Spain and Holland against another country.
So I watched Germany-Spain together with this guy and it was one of the funniest things in my life... at first he had the big mouth but during the game he slowly got quiet because the Spanish were dominating. Then Spain made a goal but I missed it because I was on the toilet. When I came back he said that it really was a shitty goal and that the Spanish were lucky. Then after the game they repeated the goal on TV and it was really beautiful, but by then he had gone outside because he couldn't stand watching the game anymore, so I also went outside and kept telling him how wonderful the Spanish goal was - In the end I saw steam coming out of his ears, he went home that evening and I never saw him again. lol!
