Honestly Jesus H Christ, what is your problem?

Let's look at some history.

From the early 1600s through the 1860s the status of most blacks in America was as a slave. Property only, no rights as a human per se.

From the 1860s through the 1950s most states did not afford blacks equal rights to other Americans. The blacks that were successful in business etc had to work a whole lot harder at success than their white counterparts but there were black people and black communities that prospered in spite of legalized obstacles thrown in front of them.

In 1947 the racial barrier in professional sports was broken when Jackie Ropbinson was brought in to the Dodgers. By the late 1960s, Blacks dominated in almost every professional sport in the United States. So, 20 years to go from nothing to being on top.

Until the early 1960s most Blacks in America were politically disenfranchised. In 2008, a Black man was elected as President. So, in politics it took them about 50 years to go from basically nothing to being on top.

In 1957, Berry Gordy had his first song published. Black music was considered pretty racy at the time. You had white boys like Buddy Holly playing what was considered "Black" music. In the 60s you had tons of Blues bands reaching back to the early Black blues artists for material. From the 60s on, music that would typically be considered "Black music" has dominated the music industry. So pretty much in that industry it took the Blacks about 10-15 years to get on top.

It seems to me, looking at history, that once the Black population figures out a path and start walking down it that they excel.

So, if I was you. I would not be so concerned with the current Black situation in America but would definitely be concerned with the future Black situation in America and whether they will show you the same amount of compassion that you show them now.

Just a thought.
