i'm told the reason the JAV studios don't police their content is that Asia has always been rife with copyright theft/bootlegs and they just accept it's part of life/business. But surely the rampant piracy of JAV DVD's online has to be cutting into their DVD sales domestically and internationally. |
We run a JAV DVD shop. Yep, its killing us. Our main distribution has gone from 3 guys working ass and elbows to 1 guy who takes the afternoons off.
Studios won't do anything because half of them are doing it as well. Its all gangster shit. Can't expect gangsters to go legit. Instead of taking them to court, they partner with them.
