We have taken a different approach with payment processing than most Anti Piracy outfits.
We leverage brand risk in order to get Paypal and others to act. We have lines of communication open with Mastercard, Visa, American Express and others however this does not mean that they get a pass until they actually start actively terminating relationships.
We understand other Anti Piracy groups have different approaches and that is fine, we would encourage complaints to be levelled at Visa and Mastercard until they start becoming as pro-active and communicative as Paypal.

The bravado on some forums is different from the reality and people are heralding earnings before they are actually paid. Regardless, we are going to keep working at shutting down all payment options for these sites. Stop File Lockers project has been running 44 days, in that time we seen Paypal, Payza, Moneybookers and other payment options removed from file lockers, piracy enablers, resellers, video streaming sites and so on.

We won't play the game of taking credit for one termination or another. Specifically when we announce terminations we explicitly say we do not claim credit for any termination and that many groups are working on this issue.
Copy Control was set up to further the fight against commercial copyright infringement on every level. We're working on file lockers now, other forms of infringement aren't off limits to us. We do not have the staffing or resources to run multiple campaigns so we will concentrate on file lockers.
This is a shoestring operation, nobody is being paid, it's all volunteered time and effort by multiple people working on the project. We'll keep going as long as the resources we do have don't run out.
