It would actually help, it's hard to explain but google doesn't like giving top keywords to the same domain on the same. I mean if you have 200 accounts on 1 IP and one has sushi chef already and you try to get that term Google will be a pain.
Point being adult sites will be less likely to have the top keywords you want if you run non adult sites.
Other than that there is no other reported difference other then religious or personal question.
