I noticed some pirates talking after I immediately took down their links:

That said, those links sure die fast. Have you considered using some kind of link hider or DLC-container? DLC-containers are one way containers. A download program can download but you can't extract the links manually. Only the program sees the actual download links. So without a special program you can't find out the links and can't report them to the site => Links stay alive.

I use cryptload and am very happy with it. But J-Downloader is equally good. Both are freeware and truth be told, they don't just make the links safer and last longer, they make downloading a lot easier. The program downloads automatically. A pop-up appears on your screen when you have to input the next captcha and that's it. You don't have to manually click each single link, don't have to check the clock to see if the 15 minute timer is up...You just load the dlc and enter the captcha when prompted.

So if you go through the work of uploading (much appreciated and thank you), why not use something to keep the links alive longer?
I have yet to look into those pieces of software, if pirates started using something like this, would it hurt? or is there a way to still obtain the link and report?
