My accountant wanted me to consult with my lawyer, as he thought that their request might violate Canadian privacy and tax laws. I didn't do it because Melody owed me less than it would cost me to pay my lawyer.
My accountant works on a flat fee unless there's an extraneous situation - wherein his hourly rate will kick in. I just think everyone is trying to fuck me - and I'm not even pretty anymore.

They asked me for all sorts of personal tax information and copies of my passport and drivers license etc. And I gave it to them. Then they misplaced all my personal info, including what sites I run and what country I live in, and refused to answer how they could have been so careless with such sensitive data. And the whole debacle happened when they were aggressively spamming all of my sites with low end disingenuous people sending out misleading nonsense to beg for traffic.
The whole thing just seemed like they had a plan to scrap together
