They're not our peers, they can play the DMCA game, someone has to while the DMCA is law, however the DMCA doesn't apply anywhere other than the USA and as long as the USA has treaties with countries like Australia, then you're more vulnerable than you realise.
We also don't need the DMCA law in order to demonstrate to a billing company that the brand risk associated with a merchant is high. High brand risk means that they'll turf you in order to avoid negative publicity. Watch this space.
