I agree with you to a point but the ancient religions we're most familiar with - Christianity, Islam, Judaism - are understandable, they were created at a time when people had little understanding of the physical world/universe and they were broadly supported by the most intelligent of them - of course there was no more proof/evidence for what was written in their holy scriptures than what this Joe Smith wrote in his but being that he wrote his fairy tale in the 19th century not the 1st century, plagiarized from the King James Bible, makes him a kook.Mormons are the equivalent of Scientologists.
