Slowly but surely I am getting together my site - latest project is to sort out the way I'll show video on the site. I plan to use streaming video. I have a wordpress site and am using the MediaElement.js - HTML5 Video & Audio Player plug in.
Using Premier Pro I have watermarked and created an mp4, 3mins 6 secs long which is 732, 187kb and using ftp uploaded it to the site. Several questions:
1. How long should the export of the video to H.264 take in premier pro?? Does 1½ hours seem normal?
2. How long should the upload via ftp take - about 2 hours.
3. Why is my video not playing properly on the site - it appears to be just freezing all the time????
Considering I want to upload videos as long as 10-15 mins on the site I cannot believe how long this will all take so surely this isn't the way you all work ...... or is it???
