Sometimes when I'm shooting stuff, be it a model or my son's martial arts belt tests, I'll go fucking crazy and shoot like a motherfucker. But I don't send out or put up all of those pics. If I shoot 300 pics of a 10 minute belt test, I go through and inspect EVERY picture. If I shoot 10 pics of a 10 minutes belt test, I go through and inspect EVERY picture. That's simply a photographer's job.

If you're not prepared to inspect your work before displaying it (and take into consideration if it could be embarassing to the subject if candids), then put the fucking camera down.
