In 2011 the Texas Republicans voted to take away funding from family planning which is contributed to abortion clinics. Due to this about 50 clinics had to close across the state.
Now big surprise, big surprise..the state is now scrambling to come up with money to fund an expected 24 thousand births this year and next to family that cant' afford them which cost the tax payers even more than they saved by closing the clinics. Not to mention all the extra welfare the state will have to pay..
Now the Texas Republicans are considering funding the abortion clinics again..
