Not to mention that maybe some of these families might be able to afford to have the kids if they could get better jobs than working at Walmart or perhaps have access to affordable health insurance.
Just Hospital costs alone during the child birth can easily go up to 15 thousand dollars for a birth that isn't complicated. That's not even including any of the doctor visits or classes people usually do before hand.
How many average people do you think have an extra 20 grand sitting around? Meaning the bulk of the population can't afford to have a baby with out assistance due to the costs of medical care in this country and the insane cost of health insurance.
Yet of course Republicans are against all three, affordable health care insurance, raising wages and regulating medical & pharma costs.
