Bitcoin will never truly die because of it's illicit use. It's a phenomenal anonymous currency and it was designed that way.
People are mad because they missed the money train. It may just be a bubble waiting to burst but even when bitcoin settles back down to $20/coin you can't call something worth 20x more than the American dollar a failure.
