I think survival sex work (ie: forced, no other options, etc) is abhorrent. Forced sex work is fucking horrible. No-other-options sex work is really sad.

the big problem with sex work is how easy it is for women to be forced into it. any woman with a drug habit is a very easy target. hell, any submissive type is an easy target. the guy lure in them in with sweet talk and once they're in, it all changes and suddenly they're prisoners. sure they could just run away but they don't for whatever reason. every time a guy picks up a prostitute, be it off an online listing, escort website or the street you could be picking up an abused woman who doesn't want to be there and gets no money from it. and that is extremely hard to put an end to. if prostitution was 'legalized', these people would not go away. it would just give them more means to avoid the law and continue to do what they do.
