I have finally decided to let go my promising but yet untapped project which I started in 2009. PayKlips.com - A video sharing site that pays to share videos. Before YT was paid - this site was and allowed adult content
Back then I bought this really lame tube script, cant remember the name. I fixed the bugs myself and added new features.
Apart from What you see this is included.
- Domain name, the standard tube site as you see it.
Software features not found on other scripts.
- Customized encoding process.
- MP4 support. The software is intelligent enough to not convert FLV and convert all media to MP4.
- Detect MP4 support (not 100% accurate) and display in compatible browsers. I have tested on Android tablets and it works. You can test on iPad, I don't have one.

Reason for selling - This site is better off with someone who can deal with adult sites and UGC content, jhas had past experience, better for someone who is based in NA/Euro region. I can't deal with adult sites and since site has mostly porn my inclination is to leave it be.
I had spent considerable amount of money in getting some people to upload quality homemade videos about 2 years ago and then I had a server crash. All the data was lost and I had to start from scratch (ouch) I sort of lost my focus on the already half hearted attempt at this site. Never promoted it
I now have several sites and no time. I won't sell most of them as they are not worth anything and will let them die off. Selling only two, undecided on other one. Just want to clear up my time for something I like more which is building support systems for webmasters, sysadmins and coders.
Financials:
Initially I spent about 300US$ on advertising in total over the past 1.5 years (probably more but this is all I remember). Another 200$ plus on hiring uploaders every year and recently again. I asked the uploaders to stop quite awhile ago. There are only 2-3 accounts used by uploaders. Rest are all real, I have not artificially inflated the users. There are many real users and 2-3 join every other day. I asked the uploaders to only use safe video content (homemade) and the categories were upto them. It just happened to turn to adult site.
There were lots of pretty good promotional videos before the crash incident.
During this time until recently I was not running any ads. Once I enabled some ads I can see that this would be a profitable venture. Unfortunately it's (adult site) not my thing and I do not have enough time. I honestly believe this could work if someone more experienced and with the time could promote it. I did a comparative analysis with imgchili and much research on cost / profit via advertising before setting this up. I came to a safe number so video sharers could enjoy revenue without dealing with setting up their own sites.
I did a recent system overhaul to fix some issues with how earnings were calculated and also updated the earnings dashboard. There were Db changes so it will only show transaction from the past month onwards.
Technical:
You need the standard. Apache, PHP5, MySQL. Plus ffmpeg setup on your server/hosting. I use Nginx and will include the custom config I wrote for Nginx.

Cloudflare account to setup DNS.
I am assuming we can use escrow to settle the deal and following are the items.
1. Transfer of domain
2. Transfer of site content to your server (setup not included)
3. Database will be transferred to you after payment.
