I would quit thinking then. You don't seem to have a very solid understanding of neural synapse nor the difference between environmental brain stimulus and the chemistry behind mimicking neural transmitters.
The increase in heroin usage is due to quite a few things, but most notably:
1.) The over prescribed amount of opiates and subsequent change in OxyCotin and other opiate formulas to make it less addictive, has led to people turning to Heroin to fill their opiate needs.
2.) The purity and availability of the heroin on the market right now has led to it being highly addictive and harder to get off. The same kind of usage spikes in usage came with crystal meth depending on the the reduction of it into the country and laws (supply / demand) and the changes in purity from different sources. Canada, mexico, super chemical labs vs bathroom labs from ephidrine pills..
For future reference, instead of trying to come up with absurd correlations to explain things..that only serve to make you look stupid, use some of your internet addiction times to actually read some educated and published literature on the subject matter.
It's not a great mystery that needs to be solved or theorized.
