Then I do not even imagine how someone could have 3.5% CTR on blogs. Like Jel said, simple text link on each blog posts should generate easy 10% CTR. I mean its impossible that out of 100 visitors only 3 CLICKS to sponsor. Sole point of blog is to make them click, principle of blog is that you intrigue the surfer and guide them to "click if you want to see more". So at the very least 10% should be bare minimum number imho.
