i just recognised something about assad, he is a genetic or racial mix of some kind, a white european athiest or muslim basically.
i still think my idea of just straight out keeping the conflict regional could be the best course. leave any intervention and or humanitarian aid to the surrounding countries even just completely without united states help of any form. but guess what you won't see that because this is the grand plan coming more to fruition, zionism dominating the middle east, eastern europe, further east over in to the far corners of china. are these neighbouring countries just not able to intervene themselves and do something to help?
