As it's the 1st of November I'd like to report on the contributions we have received.

In the month of October we received: $3,808.82 via Paypal
Of that $1,335 should recur in November

We received $1,750 via Paxum.

Total receipts for October were $5558.82.

Our minimum monthly expenditure for running the operation before we pay for legal or investigative services is around $8,890.88.

This includes:

Office Rent
Telephony
Cloud Services
SaaS such as Xero, Adobe Creative Cloud, Office 365 etc
Offsite Document Storage
Insurance
Mobile Phone
Our office 1300 number
24/7 telephone answering/reception
Insurance
Cleaning
Car Park Lease
Security
Accountancy Fees
Consulting Fees
Office Expenses
Server Fees
Cloud based virtual server fees (for our web crawlers and distributed systems)
Subscriptions
National Travel

On top of that legal fees vary depending upon the types of letters, legal action or document preparation required in any given month. Further legal fees are required when legal opinions are required from a SC.

We engage investigators from time to time and those fees vary depending upon the country and extent of work required.

There are several other forms of expense that I cannot discuss publicly in order to protect information that is sensitive regarding our operations.

Therefore our shortfall for this month was at least -$3332.06.

This project and our future planned projects live and die with the support received from the community.

Please consider making a contribution here: https://copycontrol.org/contribute

or by sending a Paxum contribution to [email protected]

Every contribution helps us keep going.

For the sake of transparency I'd like to point out that we total the Paxum payments at the end of the month and I pay that to Copy Control then use the Paxum card for my own spending. This is easier than dealing with the bank fees and variable exchange rates using EFT and obviously due to the nature of Paxum being an e-wallet I do not like accumulating much in the wallet.
