What would you suggest, run such a large operation from a tin shack somewhere ?
We are located where we are because we are close to the major financial, courts and legal district of Melbourne. We're close to other services we use. We have a massive archive of documentation filling hundreds of folders. We need to house admin and our programmer along with volunteers.
I have said consistently through this thread that an operation of this type is expensive and it is. The preparation of our rights holder representation agreements and enforcement notices by our IP lawyers cost thousands.
However the expenses we have pale in comparison to the millions upon millions of dollars made by the big commercial piracy outfits.
So what do you want, pirates making millions from stolen content or us having a modest yet functional operational structure to stop them ?
