A man was charged Wednesday with trespassing at Buckingham Palace after allegedly scaling a fence to get into Queen Elizabeth II's official residence in London.
Victor Miller, 37, an unemployed man from east London, was arrested inside the palace shortly before midnight on September 2, in an area which is normally open to the public during the daytime.
No members of the royal family were in Buckingham Palace at the time. The royals traditionally spend their summer break at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
A second man was arrested outside the palace but has since been told he faces no further police action.
Miller is to appear in court on March 4 accused of trespassing on a protected site.
