Is he harsh at times? Sure. So is Robbie. I think anyone who actually has WORKED for what they have, and accomplished something in life is going to be a bit harsh, annoyed, or bitter to those always looking for a handout or an easy way in life.

It does not sound like you have enough grasp of Op's character:
1. You say he is harsh, he is not, in fact everybody is being harsh towards him and he stays calm and polite. Even surprisingly polite.
2. What did he achieve? It was difficult for him to buy a domain and build on it, even after his freehosts crashed he insisted on finding another freehost. Also he was looking for work and when someone offered him work he tried to avoid it at all costs, giving lame excuses.
So he is the opposite of "achieved something"
All in all it sounds like you are talking about some gfy user that is the opposite of mike.
