1) Yes I used to work MFC that way models would run it in the background and if they were ok with it being shown parallel they would make x amount of credits or wait for a rare PVT. But this is not enough to keep a girl on the first page. Was not worth the split cam. More money was always made splitting on other sites.
The problem is no "top model" of mine will work MFC period. Top models make top money. Time invested in top models promotion is the most profitable time.
As an affiliate and studio boss I want to maximize my return on investment, money wise and long term. Token sites are simply not a solid foundation for my long term marketing efforts compared to PVT sites.
2) Yes token girls will stay on token sites but the consensus in my studio is that profits are waaaay down on MFC and that its basically not worth splitcamming. How much does your top girl make on MFC/month? Just out of curiosity of course, It may be that all my models simply do not know how to work MFC but they sure know how to work almost every other site.
4) & 5)
Yes there are spenders who like free previews but in general a big spender has no problem paying for a short PVT for a girl he likes...money is nothing to them so a free trial vs. a 50$PVT is not much of a deal breaker..."FREE" is simply not so appealing to most people with money...
no model or theory is perfect...the token sites have profit no doubt...I just see them as a shovel and PVT sites as a much more efficient digger machine...ok my situation is not as a pure affiliate but even if I was one I would still feel the same...
