actually i think it's quite the contrary when it comes to music, poetry, architecture, technology, education, economics and especially the fact that religion doesn't play a crucial role in most European societies - which I consider a very good thing.

also we mostly live in peace for 70 years, have in general low poverty, good healthcare systems and working social security systems.

sure, there are always things that could be improved but show me places where an average person is better off?
