From the outside looking in the website appears to be entirely legit and comes across as a fairly reputable community. That’s until you realize that there is an underground war taking place between two distinctly related business models. And that the central hub for adult entertainment online, GFY.com which was acquired by the AVN Media Network in 2013 is the launching point from where a large portion of these attacks come from.
GFY may be a prosperous community for many adult webmaster’s but it’s also a website that is being utilized by thousands of businessmen, hackers & individuals from all walks of life to launch attacks on companies around the world. These attacks are strategic and violate U.S. anti-competition & industrial espionage laws. Critically & carefully detailed plans on how to decimate competitor businesses have been revealed within the community. The goal? To destroy any business that stands in the way of their profits.

Corporation named: Copy Control PTY. In the very first post and his very first words on GFY.com relating to the StopFileLocker movement he stated the following:
“As some of you know I have started a campaign to try and kill off File Lockers.” In his own world ALL file lockers are illegal. He then went on to say

Notice the usage of the words above (Embarass, Forced, Destroyed, Tactics, Miserable), these words reflect not a business man but a renegade who is being funded by GFY.com members and owners who operate competitor businesses or stand to profit from the “destruction” of other businesses. Large sponsors like Manwin as a result have gained a lot from the down time of competitor businesses flocking to one or more of his sites as a substitution.
