there is nothing strange about that - just idiots that confuse feet and meters - because 10,000 meter = 30,000 feet

and commercial airplanes usually fly between 30,000 and 40,000 feet

10,000 feet would mean 3000 meter and i think we can all agree that a commercial airplane will not fly that low

also the airspace over east Ukraine was closed at this time up to 9700 meters
