Any analogy about piracy is never going to go anywhere. Police stop burglaries and catch burglers. No one can ever stop piracy. It is the same as the war on drugs. Expensive and pointless.
Of course laws should exist. Piracy is unarguably wrong. Should people donate money to someone that has failed to achieve anything meaningful in two years rather than spend that same money on something that would make them more money?
I think not.
Pease explain why you think it is a good idea. And while you're at it, explain why you think the mpaa and riaa aren't breaking down his door asking for help...
