^ That one had me scratching my head.
1. I don't think you "teach" a kid to be "non racist" - I mean, a baby isn't born a racist, racism is taught and/or tolerated, not the other way around.
2. You want your kid to have as many friends from different cultures as possible yet you describe a multicultural environment as a "cesspool" <- That's one of the most ignorant comments I've read on GFY in awhile, and that says *a lot*
I'm no tree-hugger and I dislike everyone equally no matter what they are, but you, my friend, are an idiot.
Private school actually pussifies and isolates children from learning and experiencing the real world and doesn't produce well-rounded, alpha-male types. A professional work environment is home of all sorts of characters from all walks of life which your kid may have to deal with one day.
I don't see public school as a success, I see it as a parent's cop-out or response to their inner fears and insecurity to confidently teach their kids to stay on the right path. In other words you place more value on the impression the kids around your children make rather than your own.
Again, that is just my 2 cents, take it for what it's worth.
Go for it.
