I'm all for solar, saving money etc... although I'd never dump a Camaro for a Volt as just something about a gas engine/horsepower.
My cousin was gonna do up a whole big ass mansion in solar for a guy as he's an electrician but after the calculations of the costs/reward it was determined the guy would have to live to be like 324 years old to see a return.
Guessing prices are going down over time.
