Perhaps, but the fact that the source has yet to be publicly named, or worse, that the source his/herself has not stepped forward on their own, certainly gives weight to it just being a sensationalist, baseless, fabrication. Realistically, what can one hope to accomplish via publishing serious allegations, and then providing zero foundation or fact, let alone a source.
