Evening all. I have been reading GFY for a while, but first time poster.

I run a website specifically targeted to a geographic location: Toronto The Naughty Dot CA (form just denied my post saying I need more messages before including a link...)

I have an idea on how I would like to make money long term, but I'm thinking of adding some advertising in the short run to help offset costs.

Up to now I have held off advertising... I hate that confusing look you get from too many ads all over your site, but realize it's a balancing act of income vs number of ads.

From everyone's experience, what kind of return would I be looking at if I started placing ad's on the site?

I get about 300-350 people a day visiting my site, and they are almost all local to Toronto.

Are we most likely looking at a few bucks a week, or something reasonable? (I realize it's impossible to give a really accurate answer, but best guesses)

Anyone have any suggestions on what I might change (other than adding ad's or outright porn...) Am I making any common Newbe mistakes?
