Because people are "loosing" their minds, that's why.
My two BIGGEST grammatical pet peeves:
1. "Loose" instead of "Lose". Once and for all people: your mamma's pussy is loose, you lose at poker. Get it? Probably not.
2. Double negatives, as in 'no' instead of 'any'. Example: "You don't know no more than I do, Porn Nerd." Sigh. No, no I do not know any more than you do.
Honorable Mention: Using 'prolly' instead of 'probably'. Grrr!
