FCC at it again ?

FCC Chairman and former cable industry leader Tom Wheeler, announces Fri Dec 19 that he is going to treat all media the same. But is a way to regulate online content.

Here is some news on cnet.

Mr. Wheeler has shown himself to be particularly slanted to helping Comcast in it's ambitions. I can see this is as a way to put some regulation on what is otherwise unregulated internet commerce without regulating the internet. But this is being sold to us as something good and somehow, I just don't think so...

It only stands to reason from the past that this must benefit Comast over Netflix and Amazon, Hulu, HBO and perhaps someone else that is about to become a player in internet media.

Where and who are the folks that state there is a need for regulation of "media".

What am I missing here ?
