I beg to differ, AK has very little understanding of legal matters and how to do business with people. If he did, he'd have acted very differently. Who is he really? What has he done in this industry? What good has he done for this industry? None. He takes money and does nothing.
If he really wanted to do something for the industry, I have - in numerous posts and at length - pointed out how he could do this, so have others.

I can't comment on that, since I'm not part of that group. I simply point out how AK never ever answers anything. How his "fans" stalk and harasses people that do not agree or pay the "ransom".
But yea, a troll begets trolls. That's why so many people are trolling him back. He kinda threw the first (and in my case) very unwarranted punch.

I've bought and own terabytes of content and have regularly had content producers shoot exclusive content for my company. Mainly for use on one of the paysites I run. I run 5 of them by the way.
Besides that, I run a service that strives to lower the entry barrier to the business, to help people make money and connect webmasters with programs. I refer thousands of webmasters to both advertisers and sponsors. I can prove that of course.
But yes, I started in 2007 so I'm not old-school

You clearly don't know the history here, AK has been harassing my company and his goons myself until I agreed to some lame procedures where he promised do things he never did. You can search here and read my responses to him, he's clearly out of his fucking mind!
So I'd spend less time, since I wouldn't have to defend myself against his bullshit and the fact that he has zero impact on piracy also means that zero time is required to achieve this result.

See above. He's fighting no fight other than the fight to scam companies out of donations. Or so it seems. Feel free to show me what he actually achieved. Because so far
he sent a total of 10 DMCA requests to Google and that appears to be it.

I think I wrote it more or less above. But to sum up the story:
1. AK claims I am a pirate and thief because two webmasters out of more than 10,000 on my free hosting service had pirated content - their sites were deleted immediately when pointed out to us btw. He kept doing this numerous times in public, even when he has our e-mail that always gets answers / acted on in 24 hours during weekdays.
That would be more effective and fair so I would not have to deal with his shit during my daughters birthday in Disneyland (last time) and would have my people handle it!.
2. Even though he was a cock I decided to play ball and agree to work with him - only to find out that he is full of shit and doesn't deliver. I decide to not spend more time on him.
3. It then comes out that AK runs a competing service to mine and then it all makes sense. So I decide to spend a little time.
and now I think I actually spent more time than I wanted. But there you have it, you asked nicely so I felt I needed to respond.
