Muscle Milk is a crock of shit. Yeah has protein but too much sugar. If you can stomach it, go with a full chicken breast before and one after. Hour before and right after. Good for the pre load and the replenish afterwords. Try to get at least a gallon of water in your day, mixed with a cup or two of green tea or black coffee. If your hell bent on going with a powder, above Whey is your bet.. also, would not forget a creatine mix or better off pills as well. I've lifted for 8 years, and never once bought any of the high dollar shit you see in the stores or weightlift mags. My Wal Mart creaine pills, and chicken tits does good for me. Im still consuming in the area of 300mgs a day of protein via chicken, eggs, rice, oatmeal and some pork, but I'm on a pretty strong routine 5 days a week too.
