I didn't salute much in the Navy, but remember I was on a Submarine, so I didn't wear a hat very often.
Robbie, Officers are suppose to salute lower rank and enlisted personal after they get saluted.
The president is not in the military, so I see no reason he has to salute military personal, but as leader and cheif I also believe it shows respect for the military, which every president should have!! Reagan did the right thing and Obama did the right thing here.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
