I have a good friend from Germany that I met when he came to the states to buy used Harleys. One year he was here looking for an economical pickup to take his wife and son on a tour of the US before shipping it back to Germany.
He found a truck on Recycler (or something like that) that sounded perfect; he called the owner and was told it was exactly what he sought so Willie drove out to check it out. When he got there he discovered that the truck had a rebuilt motor that had been really beefed up with a close ratio geared transmission. In other words there was nothing economical about this truck, it was a street racer.
Willie was a little upset, but did not show it, he just asked if he could take it for a quick drive to which the seller agreed. Willie got in, fired it up and proceeded to smoke the tires all the way down the street before bringing it back and telling him it wasn't what he was looking for.
