I just switched to Android Studio from Eclipse. Android Studio is pretty much IntelliJ. But I like it better than Eclipse. I debug with my Samsung Tablet. You can get a "hello world" program up pretty quick. Beyond that, I don't know.
I'm working on my first game now using the LibGDX framework. There are some new tutorials that are just now starting up that are really helping me. Relearning some geometry now. Finally got a tank to turn and shoot in the direction that I want. Next I want to add moving spiders/targets. Then on to collisions.
I don't think I will make any money at all at this. But it is fun, Once you get something working.
