i've maintained the same dimensions for ~7 years now, since i lost weight initially. but not all the muscle lasted. i decided i wanted to go with a maintenance program. i do body weight resistance training (primarily pushups and burpees) to stay strong and i'm paddling out surfing ~4x a week along with leisurely cruising the bikes A LOT, including a couple days a week i'll do 2 5 minute HIIT sessions a day cycling.
That activity deals mostly with my blood sugars and eats that shit up so i don't have to fire as much insulin and the icing on the cake is i get to eat carbs to support the lifestyle! and not to mention eat bacon and drink booze, very much in moderation.
and sleep good too!
