I automatically hit my garage door opener which is on my sun visor and back out... as soon as the car clears the threshold, I hit it again. Most of the time I stop to look back to see if it has closed... sometimes I have shit on my mind. This is when the issue comes into play... "did a rake fall? FUCK! I didn't look back when I left the driveway..."

The sensors can be set off by cobwebs or dust ffs. That's what get's me thinking... "Did it shut?"

Actually having to manually shut a garage door seems like it would be easier to remember if you did or not.
