You're damn right its hard.
Swinger videos are fun. I've done those. I bet that would make a great indie film.

There used to be 2 ways to get a bad name in the porn biz. Your checks are no good or if you're male talent and can't get wood. But the Internet came along and redefined the words scam, thief and gossip. And poor quality fucking is now the norm.
What I'm selling mostly these days a lot like sports or Hollywood memorabilia. Some private collectors want to see certain things or certain people and they want it on a certain format. It's a lot less bullshit and I get to work with some really cool equipment.
As for swinger videos,
All sex for me has gotten to the stage of being clinical and autopilot. A woman can be a super model and fucking her is about as interesting to me as cleaning my house or walking my dog. So when I screw someone at a swinger's party it's pretty much just an obligation for the sake politeness and to be called again in the future for work... I'm not getting anything out of it.
Also swingers can be pretty weird too. They tend to be at least in their mid 40s and obsessed with keeping their participation in the "lifestyle" a secret. So they're not really looking to get to know me as a person because I've been the "dirty pornographer." Also a lot of these "Swinger Documentaries" are just using paid actors quite often porn talent maybe a club owner as well. But that's cool.. it's about the money to me.
