tres001: That's blackhat. Because the people didn't give you their address. It would be considered spam, and you would have to, by law, give them the option to unsubscribe. But even so, they could report wherever the email came from, even your own web hosting account, and you could loose it.

Most people would just delete emails they didn't subscribe to. I know I do. But I haven't actually done the email scraping before, so I don't know what results it would show. I just know the kind of trouble you could face.
I've checked a lot of those mails and they are posted openly by the owners on their blogs inviting people to contact them and/or participate.
I could start by telling them I found their mails on their blogs and could add a link to an unsubscribe page. Just a thought....


Doing guest comments is truly super hard work as many people don't want to see comments pointing to a porn site on their blogs even if the anchor text used is a safe one.
I've spent many hours doing manual comments to see that only a small amount is approved.
